Assessment Provision through Interoperable Segments (APIS)

The APIS project is concerned with the implementation of a computer aided assessment system using the IMS QTI v2.0 specification for describing content.
Funded under: JISC ELF Toolkits (2004)

Software components:

APIS consists of a core set of libraries which convert QTI materials into XHTML webpages as well as the ability to process responses from form input.

APIS Viewer is a simple webserver with the APIS libraries embedded within. This is the quickest way to get a feel for how APIS functions from a user perspective.

APIS has been integrated with Simple Sequencing and had webservice interfaces added as the QTI-Run component of the ASSIS project
